In Acts 1:8 Jesus said, "You shall be witnesses to Me in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the end of the earth." This book is the wonderful story of the men and women who took this great commission seriously, and began to spread the gospel of Christ to the most remote corners of the known world. The acts of Peter are prominently displayed in the first twelve chapters of the book. The apostle Paul is the key character in the final sixteen chapters. The title given to the book is The Acts of the Apostles. It could also be called The Acts of the Holy Spirit.
